XCentral has announced a two-year partnership with the Essendon Football Club as their Official IT Services and Consultancy Partner.
The new partnership will see us provide IT consultancy and professional services across all the Club’s operations – off-field and on-field.
Look out for our logo which is displayed prominently on the coaches’ laptops on game days and broadcasts of matches throughout the 2019 and 2010 season.
XCentral director, Angus Mansfield, is excited about the partnership. The club joins other national sporting organisations including Gymnastics Australia and Basketball Australia.
“For the past 10 months we have been advising John Edmonds the Club’s CIO on the best and most suitable collaboration and communication technologies, with benefits to staff, coaches and teams,”
“Essendon has always been an innovator in the AFL space. We partner with clients like the Club who share the same desire to use technology to improve communications and collaboration throughout their business in order for staff to be engaged, inspired, creative and innovative.”
“We are working with John Edmonds and his team on introducing SharePoint and Teams so everyone in the Club can easily and securely communicate and collaborate anywhere, anytime. To use a football analogy, we are introducing tools where teamwork has no boundaries – unlike the football field.”
“It’s about ensuring the tools are used, leveraging as much functionality as possible; and that they are intuitive, reliable and there is little demand from the business for IT support which frees John’s team to focus on other priorities.”
To kick off the partnership we are excited about offering to Essendon business supporters an EOFY deal on technology hardware, a free check on their business to see what may have been compromised in email hacks, and the chance to win an Ultimate Bombers Experience.
